We had our property on the market for approximately six months before deciding to put it up for auction. The house had a few historical structural problems which made it unattractive to buyers through an Estate Agent, although overall it was in good condition and in a nice location.
We have been delighted with the service provided by Auction House Essex. Alan ensured that the process was very straightforward and, as the house was vacant, arranged all the viewings, ensured that the property had maximum internet coverage, including the Auction House website, and even liaised directly with our solicitors. He also kept us well informed of any developments throughout this process. Since February, when we first saw and fell in love with the flat, it has been a bit of a rollercoaster. When Andrew said he thought this sale and purchase could work we had our doubts.
