As part of our Estates Rationalisation programme we identified the need to dispose of 2 properties during 2014 within the Walsall area. Both properties had had various internal structural works to convert from a residential property to office accommodation, making them prime for sale by auction.
All in all the service and support has been made available and as a company they are responsive and easy to deal with and communicate at every stage, including liasing directly with the Trust solicitors to respond to any legal queries.
Due to this being the first of rationalisation sales I attended the auction as an interested party. The auction was very well attended and managed, with standing room only. Both properties received a lot of interest on the night and both exceeded the reserve price. Whilst there were delays in the sale of one of the properties, both sales were managed via Chris and his team to a successful conclusion. From a Trust perspective the sales fulfilled a number of criteria as did the service, mainly providing a value for money service.
The transaction and communication was professional throughout to the point that having identified through a continual review of the estate a further 2 properties have been identified as surplus and meet the criteria above, that Auction House have been appointed to dispose of the assets via auction on behalf of the Trust.

Chris attended the properties with me within 24 hours of making contact with the office and provided prompt valuations. We agreed the terms and conditions without fuss and I was kept up to date by the marketing agent and Chris with regards to interest levels and offers.
We paid Auction House to take care of the signing of the contracts, so on the day of the auction all I had to do was log in and see how the result had gone. Fortunately all 3 properties sold on the night. 2 properties only met the reserve, but these were the structural defective ones and the other achieved £20,000 over the Guide Price which was a great result.
