I have sold a number of my own houses in the past but never through the auction process. It was my brother's property which had become run-down and he was justifiably anxious about putting it up for auction. Dean, from The Auction House, was open, frank and realistic from the start and gave me great confidence throughout the process. The turn-around was efficient, prompt and the advertising to prospective buyers was impressive, attracting a number of interested parties. Although I was concerned about the reserve price being worryingly low, Dean was correct in his prediction as the property sold for more than half as much again.
