Auction House Sussex & Hampshire is one of the largest property auctioneers in the South East of England. Our Auctioneer is Stewart Gray (RICS Registered Valuer) who is Senior Partner at Austin Gray and has been with the firm since the day he left school now well over 45 years ago.

Auction House Sussex & Hampshire is run by Austin Gray, and we have been auctioneers since 1985 and hold auctions throughout the year - currently live streamed only but we hope to return to an Auction Room in due course. We sell all types of property by Auction including both residential and commercial property, development sites, land and garages. In 2023 we have expanded our South East coverage to include Hampshire. Our auction services are now available across the whole of Sussex and Hampshire. These areas include Brighton, Chichester, Rye, Horsham, Crawley, Basingstoke & Dean, Petersfield, Gosport and The New Forest.

There are still a large number of sellers who do not appreciate the merit of Auctions or realise that their high street agent is duty bound to consider this alternative approach if they are giving advice to maximise the price of any property. Auction is a great way to prove value by open marketing that can never be challenged so we have a Charities, Executors, Receivers, Trustees in Bankruptcy, and similar bodies instructing us to maximise and prove value.
