COVID-19 – Important Auction Information

Is now the opportune time to become a landlord?

According to new data, tenant demand in the UK is the highest it’s been since records began back in 2011.

The huge surge of demand for rental property seen over the course of the covid pandemic is seemingly continuing to grow.

Figures for the first quarter of 2022 show that the 62% of landlords who reported increasing tenant demand is double in comparison to the same period in 2021.

Over 700 landlords were asked to assess tenant demand over the past three months, as part of the recent research carried out on behalf of Paragon Bank. From these, 34% reported a ‘significant increase’ whilst a further 28% reported slight increases.

For those considering investing in property and becoming a landlord, now could be the perfect time with a lack of supply for the number of people seeking to privately rent.
